Beta usage limits
The limits on renders, imports and invitation emails while EndCreditsPro is in free beta, what counts towards each one, and what you see when you reach one.
EndCreditsPro is free during the beta. To keep it that way for everyone, a few actions that cost us money to run have a usage limit per person: renders, imports and the emails we send to people you invite. The limits are set well above what a production normally needs. They apply only during the free beta and may change.
The limits
| What | Limit | What counts |
|---|---|---|
| Renders in progress | 2 at a time | Renders you started that are pending or in progress. |
| Renders per day | 20 | Every render you create, and every Retry. |
| Renders per month | 100 | Same as above, per calendar month. |
| List imports per day | 20 | Every Excel, CSV, Word or pasted list you send to preview, even if you don’t import it in the end. |
| Video imports per day | 3 | Every credits video you start importing. |
| Video uploads per day | 6 | Every video upload you start, including uploads that don’t finish. |
| Video size | 2 GB | Per video file. |
| Invitation emails per day | 50 | One per recipient, each time an email goes out (see below). |
| People per request | 20 | Addresses in a single collaboration request, review request or share link. |
Limits are per person, not per project: a render counts against whoever started it. Days and months run in UTC (midnight UTC is 1:00 or 2:00 in Central Europe, and 7:00 or 8:00 p.m. the day before in New York).
What counts as an invitation email
Each recipient of each of these emails counts once:
- a collaboration request or a review request, when you send it and every time you click Resend;
- a share link, when you send it and every time you resend it;
- an approval phase, when you submit it (one email per approver of that phase) and when you send approvers a reminder;
- an invitation to join your organization.
Emails to confirm your account or reset your password don’t count, and neither do the notifications we send to your team.
What happens when you reach a limit
The action doesn’t go through, and a notice appears: You’ve reached a beta limit, with a sentence that says which limit it was, for example “During the beta you can launch up to 20 renders a day. Need more? Write to us.” Nothing is half-done: no render starts, no email is sent, nothing is imported.
- For a daily limit, try again the next day (UTC). For the monthly render limit, the next month.
- For Renders in progress, wait for one to finish, or cancel one in the Renders tab.
- For People per request, split the list of addresses into several requests.
- For Video size, export a smaller file, for example only the credits section of the film.
If you need more for a real production, click Contact us in the notice, or write to hello@endcredits.pro. We can raise a limit for your account.
